A yarn that I recently started to use to make some hand towels for my friends wedding gift Hopefully with linens great durability they can be past down to future generations.  </p><ul><li><strong>Best for:</strong> Table linens, summer wear, curtains</li><li><strong>Pros:</strong> Strong, gets softer with use, beautiful drape</li><li><strong>Cons:</strong> Stiff to start, can be tricky to tension</li></ul><p><strong>Tip:</strong> Wet-spun linen works better for warp than tow linen due to fewer slubs and more strength. 									<p>Wool is a weaver’s dream for softness and warmth.  From my limited experiences It has a natural elasticity that makes it forgiving on the loom. I have only used it small projects such as decorative pillow covers and scarves. I hope to make couch size throw with my recently restored 45 inch Leclerc Fanny weaving loom.</p><ul><li><strong>Best for:</strong> Blankets, scarves, clothing, tapestry weaving</li><li><strong>Pros:</strong> Warm, elastic, felts easily for finishing</li><li><strong>Cons:</strong> Can shrink/felt if not washed carefully, may be too stretchy for some warps and depending on the brands the cost.</li></ul><p><strong>Types to consider:</strong></p><ul><li><em>Worsted spun wool</em>: Smooth and strong, ideal for warp</li><li><em>Woolen spun</em>: Softer, more textured, better for weft or softer drapes like scarves</li></ul>								</div>
